This is still the first coat. I've had to fill in lots of dents but my friend has been helping me sand her. We were on all day today sanding!
I like to have the gun on 60psi and thin the paint down 50:50. That seems to work well with the particular gun I've got. If you have it on less it seems to spit sometimes.
Here is a picture of me looking pleased!<br>

Hi Kate,
Tis really looking good - can't wait to see it when its finished. Just out of interest which one are you spraying the green or the blue one?

I'm spraying the blue one as the paintwork was shockingly bad. She had dents and paint runs all over. I've never seen a paint job so bad!
I hope I haven't scared the men away! Maybe it was my hagged old face?

It had been raining then the sun came out and it was nice. Then as soon as I started it went dull. Typical

It's alright to spray in the rain as I''ve got a large umbrella. I don't want my hair to get messed up!

What a fascinating thread, well done, I hope you get the finish you are looking for. Spraying is something I need to crack... never been that successful in the past.

I'm really pleased about that! I think women make brilliant classic car restorers!
