It's good fun if all three drive. Front right operates the pedals, the back seat passenger reaches over and steers and the front left has control of the hand break and gear lever. (I think that is how we used to do it!)

Reminds me of the old Land Rovers where the person in the middle seat has to change gear between their legs! :)
Anyway, I think I'll be driving, my dad is no longer allowed :D

You'll soon learn that unlike a modern car, having more weight (e.g. people) means you can't stop nearly as quickly when travelling at main road speeds...
I learnt that in my teenage years - leaving a motorway at 70mph down hill on the sliproad to a roundabout. 3 adults in the car was more than the brakes could handle. Thank God for engine braking, as the brakes were overcooked well before we got to the roundabout!

I'm not on the board very often, but would there be room for another car, plus possibly 6 people (well, 5 people and my 15 month old nephew), and not all in the moggie either! There'll definitely be 3 of us though.

Off to research the latest on insurance companies on this site as it is that time again.

How about May10th

I'll send a coded message to the chaps at Benchley and see if I can negotiate a cessation of charges or a reduction in collateral exchange for the day.
Is 'Benchley' a code for Bletchley?

I have booked it for Sunday May 10th.

It opens at 10.30

We have free parking (which is a saving of £3.00 each) on the oval - whatever that means. She was happy to have us on display!

I couldn't negotiate any further discount so it's £8 entry to the centre.

Please confirm if you are coming. How many cars you will have and how many people. I will confirm the details with Bletchley Park nearer the day.
Oh, just remembered I have a 12 month, free admission, season ticket. Automatically issued when I visited last August.

IF I remember to take it :)
