Practice & a few pointers is all you need...
I'd gas welded before but picked up mig with an hours lesson from a mate & then started welding the mog next day... 4 days later after welding chassis legs, floor pan, spring hanger etc... MOT pass.
Mig welding to MOT level is not that hard. Tiring & it can burn though.. I still have a few resident scars... :D
