Heater valve fouls on the battery - because it mounts at an angle on the 940 head. Answer is to use the old brass tap that early engines carried. Actually think some Minis had a very simple connection here too - the control valve was moved up beside the thermostat.
Dunno if this twin-cam conversion would go on small bore engine - valves may hit the block. The crank/rods/pistons would be the weakest links.

i have not tried the 16v head on a small bore block yet, but the first person who found this conversion fitted it to an 850cc so the answer is yes.
On a 1380cc engine we have seen 168bhp, STD crank & rods are good for 200+bhp as proved by the turbo boys so you will not get problems there.
