With the correct wheels and correct steering wheels PAS isn't needed therefore it's probably only useful on a modified car...

June 07 - back from Zwickau Trabi Treffen
Aug 07 & Aug 08 - back from the Lands End to Orkney in 71 pickup

If you get in touch with Jonathon from JLH Minor restoration/motorsport he will be able to advise as I think he's had dealings with them before:

In my opinion, if a car has been modded with 185 tyres or greater plus maybe a bit of negative camber and a smaller diameter steering wheel then the steering may feel heavier than the standard set up.
Firstly try the obvious rack swivel pin and trackrod checks along with a full geometry check.
We have produced a power steering kit for a customer with a modded traveller in London. We exhausted the checks and remedies for heavy steering but eventually opted for electronic power steering, from a MGF. This was grafted onto a standard columnusing the MGF electric motor. The system is fully adjustable for weight, and is automatically or manually adjustable. The ECU is a bespoke system and it works beautifully. The benefit of this mod is not only for the modded car but also a usefull aid to those suffering from arthritis, m/s, or similar conditiond where a lighter weighted steering is required.
The down side is of course cost.
