You're right BMC, I remember from when I had Leyland FWD cars- gears sharing the oil with engine- no wonder they wore out quicker than RWD BMC stuff, but I'll see how much swarf is collected at the next oil change, should be interesting as I fitted an ESM magnetic plug at the last change.
