looking to find cellulous paint in airisol cans 2 pack if there is such a thing in a can that i can use to paint up some welded areas im currently without compressor and my work is far to buisy at current to do it in there i have alreasy repaired the rust on my 100e rear wheel arch with beleve it or not a pice of morris minor front wheel arch and my dads m8 came and smothed it off with lead, i have already primed the area with a rust proof primer and just wet sanded it now i just need to find some paint, oh and some tips as all im alowd to ddo in work is primer at the moment
be aware that two pack paint is extremely hazardous to your health and requires the use of an air fed mask to spary with. Cellulose is far better for the amateur as it is very forgiving and can be blended in and cut back with the existing finish.

As I have said before on this matter cellulose is also very hazardous and an air fed mask should be worn when spraying and cleaning out your gun.The thinners is the offending product.
You can wear a carbon filter mask for cellulose. The thinners are harmful and highly flammable, as they contain toluene ane Xylene (and methanol in the case of gun wash).
This will not work for 2-pack as Isocycanates are given off which are toxic. You DO need an air fed mask for 2-pack which can and has killed home sprayers!!
I've got some two pack left over from the respray a few years' ago. How dangerous is it to mix up some colour and hardener to touch up stone chips with a small brush? Which of the two 'packs' is the dangerous one; or is it both? Or only dangerous once mixed?

so long as you do not breath heavily on the paint you will be fine. The main problems only occur when the paint is atomised. The most harmfull of the two packs is the thinner/hardener, although the actual solid colours do contain cyanide. So really in theory just take care.
The reason I warn against cellulose is mainly because, some folk believe that just because it was the original choice at manufacture, then it must be safe, also because it has the ommission of cyanide, that it is a safe product. Even if you wear a mask when spraying cellulose, have a thought for your neighbours and any pets.

That should have the words "in my opinion" before the statement. I think it's misleading to state your personal dislike for 2K as a fact that it is a rubbish, quick fix paint. Many would disagree with you and Jonathon has rebuked such statements many times. It can be used as a quick fix (resulting in rapid degradation) but on the other hand it can also be used professionally for a superb finish.
I agree that it's certainly not a home use product, which is why so many people on this site tend to advise against it.
no mate, trying to stick to a budget, theres a tiny run on the body. small dent they missed on bootlid, but im not too bothered, my first week on the road ,i could get a stonechip or a dent in tesco car park,steve
