Does MG Midget LCB manifold fit Minor

hi,

As the title says:Does MG Midget LCB manifold fit Minor ,I have been offered 1 at work But nobody really knows.

Can anyone confirm wether it fits or not?

It fits the engine, but does not exit the engine bay in the correct place, so it's not much use for a Minor application.

It doesn't fit in the bay at all, as far as I can see - projects too low. Certainly couldn't get an exhaust on there... Does anyone want to buy one? I've got a new, unused one that Moss sent me ages ago which I didn't twig was the wrong one for several months - oh OK, many months, too late to return it anyway. £50, anyone?

Zippy - take it anyway if it's going free/cheap - and then modify it to fit - can't be that much in it.

The angle at which the downpipes leave the part that fastens on to the block are completely different, but I guess if you have kit to bend the downpipes to precisely the right angle, then no, there probably is not much to it.

Well I would be heating them cherry red with oxy-actylene kit - but i only suggested getting it FREE or CHEAP !!

You'd need a spare head to bolt it to, and the ability to heat/bend all 3 branches at once, but I guess it's possible.

It's not the one from you! It's one I bought (ordered) at a show 18 months ago, which turned out to be wrong when they sent it. I didn't realise until it was too late to exchange it, so Matt's having it for his... Sprite? Midget? I can't remember!
