Sill replacement

Hello all

I have decided to replace my sill, on the lhs.

NO major rot, it's just starting to appear.
So what panels should I buy, if I were to replace the complete sill?

You can buy the complete section (front and rear as one) or just the front or the rear half sections.

I have purchased the whole section. Might have been easier to have it shipped here in two pieces actually, now that I come to think of it...

I have got it one piece. And a very reasonable £13,95 for P&P
I did order over £500 in one go..

But I still have the feeling I don't have it all. Are there any repair panels available for the bottom of the C(?) post on a 2dr? Where the wing meets the body at the bottom.

its all avalible.
why not try and make that piece yourself. weld the nut on first before you weld the plate in position

True. but I'm soooo lazy. I like buying them readymade. cheaper and easier, if you count the hours that is

i agree panels are much better but that piece isnt much of a panel

again you are true, you'd have to buy a bottom repair panel, and that doesn't need replacing

it did. not the only one either. all the bolts in easily accesible places where loose in notime, just the ones on the A post, and the two on the bottom side of the rear wings

rear 1s should be easy and a good idea 2 replace
the front 1 is a little anoying

It might be..yes, I have to replace all three, but i might cheat a bit, since I can choose where I want my bolts to be

Hello,
I am just buying a 1968 Moggy. It failed it's Control Technic (Luxembourg MOT) on 2 issues. One is RHS sill and the other the fuel tank. I can clean and check the fuel tank, but sill work. Where do I begin and how hard is it to do?
