Is the 1300cc out of a Austin Morris GT any good to a morris minor

Thats the 1300 (front wheel drive)?

if so then you would have to change the crankshaft and muck about with other stuff.
More knowledgable persons will be able to tell if anything is worth having off it.

It had a twin carb though, so the manifold might be useful at least - if you're into that sort of thing.

It's twin HS2 though (I know, I nearly bought the VDP version before getting the 2000 a few months ago). Pointless really, a single HiF44 on the MG inlet is better, and probably still cheaper.

However, the ADO16s are nice cars IMO, if you can get one in good nick :)

You could use it to build a front wheel drive Minor ! Otherwise - the head and maybe the carbs are worth having. Neither are a bolt-on fit though !

Thanks g - very nice indeed - make me very jealous. My Traveller is same colour and I have always fancied a set of these wheels, although probably in 14" !

bmc - i don't think your trav is the same colour!!! its a bit of a one off colour, i tried to get it as bright white as possible

g - your's certainly looks very white - maybe Snowberry ? Certainly mine is more a cream - Old English white - but you know what I mean!

yeah i do, only messing

i think mine is a mix between a toyota and nissan white, every every white

white looks so good next to the wook

ray - the GT is question isn't going anywhere any time soon!!!
