Pinking is like a metallic tinkling sound (must get round to recording it!!! :wink: ). It's not a nice sound and it sounds like there is something wrong - engine wise (which there is!).

You'll probably be OK, but if you are running lean then try to avoid prolonged periods at high revs.

that's great for 2 x 3 hour motorway trips!

I might have another go with me screwdriver to make sure Ive done all I can - this time in daylight :D
