No click

That`s right, my fuel pump doesn`t click but my car works fine, is this normal.

It must be clicking or it would not be pumping! Maybe it's just a quiet click. Have a listen under the bonnet...

I know Cam, but my click can usually be heard next door so when i didn`t hear it this morning i thought oh oh, and when she stalled after a few seconds i again thought oh oh, but i am indeed going to go and stick my head under the bonnet right now.

It is indeed clicking, albeit quietly, either that or my hearings not what it used to be.

Althought I've only had mine for a few weeks the only time I've heard the pump tick is first thing, even under the bonnet I can't hear it, but thats probably due the noise the engine makes!
Having owned several SU petrol pumped cars the best advice I can give is alway carry a hammer!

...and if you don't want to carry the entire garage in your car or have a full boot already you can often fix a sticking fuel pump by cleaning the points (a nice small sheet of emery paper does the trick)
