Jonathan, yes I thought it a sweeping statement as I made it, but the devil made me do it! Although there are some crap attitudes out there towards taking care, I, and I'm sure you have experienced this.
Of course once upon a time people did things called apprenticeships and usually a craftsman came out the other side. Now if you say you can do it and someone believes you, you're in business. Now that's out the way, I agree this does not apply to all companies.

Before anyone makes this mistake, do note that each type of insert has a specific screen rubber. You cannot change the stainless for the flexible chrome strip (or vice-versa) without changing the screen rubber too.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

Glad you mentioned that Peetee, no-one had mentioned that point -- I am sure we have all the info. now to tackle the job in hand .
