speedo

Post by Willie »

The SN number is on the front face of the speedo. If you are going
to instal a 1098 engine and box you should change to a 4.22-1 diff
(9/38 ) and a 1098 speedo AND fit a 1098 type sender unit in your
petrol tank, (otherwise your fuel gauge will not read properly).
Oh! I did not put that smiley in! it was a close brackets originally!!

Smiley problem edited...

Rich, it's probably the wrong speedo or perhaps a duff one.

RICH....That number is not listed in the 'bible', the Minors are
generally in the SN44.....range so logic says yours is from a later
vehicle, perhaps a Mini or similar??
