Renovating my Moggie

Post by Dizzi141 »

I live in East Cornwall and am looking for some kind person :D who would be able to help/direct me in the restoration of my Moggie 1000. She is needing some bodywork done, including rust repairs and some welding. And when the bodywork is done, a respray...PINK!!
Can anyone advise me where to get parts fairly cheaply as I am still at school?
Thanks, Lorna

Hi Lorna
Amanda who also lives in Cornwall recently posted this in the for sale section
When I bought Humphrey he originally came with 5 tea chests of bits, plus loads of bigger bits, ie prop shaft, bonnet, 2 spare doors (stainless steel tops) steering rack etc etc. Having neither enough room in my little house nor enough money to buy it all, I bought the car with as much stuff as I could get in it at the time. Therefore there is loads of stuff still up for grabs - including all listed above. Sorry guys, I've already had the sills, spare seat leather and most of the shiny bits. - no interest in the yuckky oily bits! so if you want them give Bruce a ring on 01637 830478 (Newquay)
If you are after service item there are lots of suppliers listed in the club magazine that give preffered prices for club members for example service kits for around £12.00 + vat, these consist of oil & air filters, plugs, points, rotor arm, condenser & distributor cap, a lot cheaper than else where.
Cheers
