Wiring for tail lights on a 1959 Morris Minor

My brother is in the Hospital and while he is there with nothing to do, he is thinking about his Morris Minor restoration. He is wiring it back up and has forgotten where to run the wiring for the tail lights. Under the car or behing the fender firewall (I think he said??) I thought I would try to get the answer for him so he would know when he gets ready to go back out and work on it.
Thanks for any help I can get. Hope you don't need a model number or something as I don't know anything about this car...other than it is cute and is his replacement for the first car he ever owned.

Presuming it is a saloon...
The wiring runs underneath the car until just behind the rear seat - it then passes into the boot area and then runs along the right hand side next to the small box section at the bottom of the inner wing - except for a red wire which goes up towards the boot hinge and along the bootlid to power the number plate light.
