Air Compressors

Post by thwaak »

I am thinking about purchasing a air compressor to do a paint respray. I cannot justify the expence of a large compressor for which may turn out to be a one off job. Has anyone attempted to use the smaller type i.e, 1.5 - 2 h.p with a small F.A.D. and how did it turn out...
Cheers,
Neil

Perhaps hiring one out at a weekly rate ( with spray gun?) might be cheaper ?

Hiring a compressor will cost £140 + VAT for one week but I'm still interested to know if the smaller types of compressors are up to the job.
