Got the ole guy back in the garage again...way too long sitting outside...so I did what all crazy old men do...they get the oil and start spreading it around...he seems happier in the shop...
love the looks with oil on it
Oil makes everything better for old heaps...
This little deal is kicking my back side for sure...hanging pedals...never been a fan of it but we are still smoking the ole pipe and drinking the strong coffee to help with the mind set...
playing with the floor pans too....everyday single day I am out there doing something to it...
This is the second or third time around for the driveshaft tunnel area...
tack tack tack....grind grind grind...repeat...
Drink the coffee...smoke the pipe....scratch the chin...
More to come
It was a parts car and now it is a project car

Still at it...the old chassis went back to it's former caretaker...it was sad to see it go but winter is coming and it is one less thing to snow blow around...
I keep forgetting how long it takes to build these cars...this is the third or fourth time I have taken this parts out and put back in just take back out again...
It almost looks like it is making sense again...
I bought a accelerator pedal assembly and I am hoping once I get more of the firewall in place I can get it mounted where it belongs...
I put new lowered coil springs in it this spring...I sitting there looking at it and the bottom cushion was not even there...Rock Auto to the rescue again...
I married a cook and she wears stuff out...I got 2 of these to tinker with...I am pretty sure I will be able to weld them inside the rear boot area...
More to come...working on getting the roll cage welded into place...

Re: It was a parts car and now it is a project car
So I had this gapping hole in the back of the car...
I got a baby gate from a scrap pile from the neighbor...
Next was about 3 days of chin scratching and pipe smoke....
Lots of smoke again...
What was I thinking???
I kinda like it so far...
stuff is happening almost everyday...the goal is one patch panel a day...
More to come
