Yes I saw that. Really charming. I loved it. When I was 18 my Minor was 21. Now my Minor is 57 ! I think we will hold a birthday party for his 60th. Any excuse for a party.

Unfortunately, we'll never be able to find out what happened to the car...
The Registration was transferred to a 3Ltr silver Opel (probably a Senator or Monza given the engine size), coincidentally first registered the same year as that BBC video, 1980. :cry:
Which itself has been untaxed since a new V5 was issued in 1993 ....

Always a possibility.
The Minor wouldn't have been worth that much in 1980, I'd guess perhaps £100-200 in fair condition, compared to a brand new Opel at £10K-£12K.
