Hi!
Anyone know the correct way to fasten the vinyl armrest panels in the rear seat (1958 Saloon, 2 door) ?
Mine was attached with sheet metal screws, you can see the screwheads so I assume this is not the correct way, should these be attached with clips like the door cards ?

Mine (1956 S2 convertible) is fixed with short, self tapping screws. They need cup washers to spread the pressure.

There is no provision (ie 3mm holes) for the sort of spring clip used on the front doors.
You could devise something different, but it then wouldn't be "original". (Unless it all changed between 56 and 58!)

Ok, thanks, I thought it might have been some clips as it does look a little ugly with the screw heads visible, but if that is they way it should be it's ok
