Coach screw for timber frame traveller

I am in the process of fitting the timber frame on my traveller was going to use stainless steel coach bolts what size would I need for the rear posts and rear valance thanks

I am guessing 8mm should be ok for both

hi mate ive just done this to my 58 traveller , i bought a fitting kit from esm minors ,you get every thing to fit new timberhope this helps kev

Thanks for your reply I bought the car as a bag of bits it came with a partial fitting kit I think from Charles ware I have changed all the fittings and purchased marine grade s/s coach bolts and I am using dome headed s/s nuts on the outside of the hinges I think this looks much better

2 1/2" x 5/16 Whitworth 4 No according the Factory drawings
