Traveller fitting rear wood etc
I have noticed on the photo of the traveller at the factory the rear being fixed as one unit the rear wings were missing is this because at this stage they hadn’t been painted ? I will shortly be fitting the rear woodwork including the wings onto the body as one unit with the help of three other friends is this a good idea or not , everything has been trial fitted up to this point

The factory probably did it that way for a very good reason. You may find that if the wings are already on the wood, then they will prevent the frame sitting against the inner arch. I suggest that the wings should be fitted after the timber is on the car.
