Wheel nut covers

Hi all,does any one know where to obtain chrome style wheel nut covers. You can get 17",19"etc (but not 19"). I have mg midget wheels with the standard moggie nuts and want to smarten the wheels up a bit more. Before anyone says I shouldn't use the standard nuts on my wheels,the wheels fitted the hubs perfect on my car so no problems. Any help please cheers.

Well aside from the fact that you should have been able to edit your original post, rather than have to post a correction (you did spot in only a minute after posting), why are you talking about Inches (") as Nut sizes?

Minor Nuts are 3/8"W Spanner if I recall correctly, an a 18mm Socket fits.

I think you're right, 18mm is not a size used on modern metric vehicles.

The wheel nut covers shown are the sort of covers I need the only thing is they are either too loose or won't go on. I might go down the route of mg chrome nuts instead.

Years ago I fitted some bling tyre valve caps on my Audi. They looked very nice with the Audi logo but they seized horribly!

Alloy valve caps commonly seize, good old dissimilar metal and water At least plastic doesnt, just age crack and fall off

I learned the hard way. Difficult to steal though

Just as a note: You shouldn't really use standard Minor 1000 nuts to secure Midget wheels. The angle of the taper is different so you have much less engagement
The correct nuts will perform much better.
