Logging on

Each time I come to this forum, I am required to fill in my user name and password, I click ‘remember me’ but next time I visit I have to repeat the process. Is it just me or a fault with the site please ? It has just started to behave like this.

I quite often have exactly the same issues Les - but today it let me in ok!

'Remember me' just means your device will remember your ID and password.

I suspect the Forum is set up to log people out after a period of time (a few hours?) for security reasons. Not unusual.

Thank you both for reply. It use to asked me for user name and p/w every so often, maybe after several weeks but now it’s virtually every time I visit. Oh well it might just be a temporary issue.

I suspect the problem is with browser settings at your end.
I usually access the forum via my PC, but a couple of times a week I'll use my phone browser, if I'm not at home or perhaps in the evening when sitting in the lounge.
Both devices are invariably logged in, the PC for example is switched off every night and back on in the morning, but this morning on opening the browser it was logged in as I expected.
When it does always require details to be re-entered is when the Browser does an update on startup.
