Front Telescopic Shochers

Post by wanderinstar »

Am considering making my own front shocker kit. Any ideas which shockers to use. Would Morris Ital fronts do the job?
Ian.

I don't know - as you've probably noticed from recent discussion, opinions vary a little... I'm sure we will be sharing the benefit of many shades of wisdom shortly. :D

Ian - To save endless nit-picking on here I have answered you directly on this. In short - yes it can be done for very very little cash, and it works like a dream !

Agree with that - only work on your car within your own knowledge and capability. But hey - this is not rocket science (that's what I do during the day for a living !).

So do I sort of. But I would want to make sure the shocks are absolutely fit for the job.

First thing is to call them by the correct name - dampers. They damp out the oscillations in the suspension movement.

Nit -picking aside  Why not share your experiences of fitting your dampers with us all, isn't that what this forums about? :D
