I have three MMs, and wanted to find out the factory specs of these cars (want to try restoring them to those specs).
1. Year 1956, Chassis No: FBA 21 / 361326, Engine No: 215412
2. Year 1951, Chassis no: SMM/104234, Engine no: 104100
3. Year 1949, Chassis no: SMM/1362, Engine no: 2439
Can anyone kindly help me or point me to the relevant sources for the information. Thanks a ton!

You can apply for heritage certificates from the British Motor Museum. This will tell you the original paint colour, trim colour, engine, gearbox, rear axle, body numbers. https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/ar ... rtificates
Then get a copy of "The Original Morris Minor" by Ray Newell ISBN-13 : 978-1906133030. This will help you ascertain what it is original and what is not.

You can also purchase Morris Motors/Nuffield parts books which give the relevant part numbers and change points for the individual components. Try Ebay etc

Yes. You can search for and download AKD3541 (general parts) and AKD3542 (body parts).

Yes may be of some use but Morris Minor service parts list Series II AKD 3543 etc will be better for the 56 car and those others will be of very limited use for the two early cars

Unfortunately, those parts lists are only for S3 onwards.
I have them and they're only relevant to common parts across the entire range.
I've never located pdf versions of the MM/SII parts manuals.
I've also got the AKD 3574 & 3575, which cover the entire LCV production from the start of their production in '53 which is useful for some limited aspects, generally the 'front end' ....
