York MMOC

Hi, I was wondering if the York branch was still up and running and meeting at the Acomb Conservative Club? Has it disbanded? Meeting elsewhere? I went on 3rd Feb and no-one was there. As a new owner of a 1956 split screen I would appreciate having a friendly and knowledgable group that I can chat to and get advice from as I tackle the little quirks Ive noticed. I've tried a couple of email contacts to the Yorvik / York branch and had no responses or acknowledgement.

Looking in the current edition of Minor Matters March/April 2026 there is no branch report for York but there are branch reports for the East Yorkshire (meets at Beverley) and West Yorkshire (meets at Cleckheaton) branches of MMOC. Since those branches are clearly active, maybe get in touch with them?
