EX RAF staff car

i have just got a 1959 2 door that that came with quite a lot of history having skimmed through and box of parts found RAF number plates and some receipts for services on car mostly berlin who should i contact to find more information about Margret,s military service history i just dont know where to start

A heritage certificate from museum archive at Gaydon would be a good starting point.

Info from another Ex RAF moggy owner:

"We contacted the RAF museum at Hendon and they put us in touch with someone who can delve into the history. He gave us some basic details which we mostly already knew, but can do more research for a price, I think it was £150 which we politely declined! This was a few years ago, 2022 I think."

As an aside and in a similar vein which may be of interest to some - all the record cards for WD & MOD locomotives (steam & diesel), rail cranes and rail plant were passed to the RLC Museum for safe keeping. They may not be a complete record but were comprehensive. Accompanying the record cards were a large selection of slides.
When I worked for REME the Officer (Major) Commanding the workshop was issued with a Bronze Green 1098cc Morris Traveller. We had a vast store of new Morris Minor parts and all the listed special tools for use in maintaining that and other units Minor Travellers from around the midlands. Unfortunately it went for disposal at Ruddington as did all the spare parts. I often wonder what happened to it. The record card if held will show that it was at Long Marston around the early 1970s. The Minor Traveller was replaced with a Ford Escort Estate - no comment.

Unfortunately they all went for disposal .
I did take measurements of some of the tools and later made copies.
Fortunately over the years I have managed to obtain the majority of the Morris Minor/Churchill special tools and the special Sykes Pickavant tools I used when working in the BMC garage.

Some of the special tools on trucks were also made by Kent, did they make any of the car tools?

For the Minor - not that I know of.
As far as I am aware they are all Churchill manufactured as listed in the BMC wksp manual AKD530..
