Re: Improved rubber parts
The formula/mixture of the rubber has not got any better over the years - just look at Minor engine rubber mounts.
The manufactures needs to get a grip of the problem and make the mounts to the correct shore rating.

Re: Improved rubber parts
Still interesting to read what confirms most of us suspected: modern rubber is different from that of yesteryear. We know that bushes are available in different degrees of hardness, but engine mounts have been too harsh for many years.

Re: Improved rubber parts
Are we sure that this thread was not revived by an AI?

Re: Improved rubber parts
I think it is simply an advertising post for the rubber company...
Simmitc will have access to the email and IP address if he wishes to investigate.
As far as I'm concerned, the company are in India and it reads like a quote from a sales brochure....
But as simmitc says....

Re: Improved rubber parts
Yes but I suspect it's an AI that is finding forums and the like and posting advertisements.
It concerns me that this will get to the point where we can no longer determine who is human and who is not! Imagine if an AI hacked a real forum users account, perhaps a deceased user, and then being a clever AI started posting in the style of that real person. We might never know!
