Re: Minor Matters January/Febuary 2026
Same arrived yesterday.
Post has been very strange over holiday period, we had none for days and then a big delivery, some neighbours driving to sorting office to collect their own.
I could be post office delay not mmoc.

They were posted last Wednesday. Mine arrived Saturday. Bear in mind that some areas of the country have experienced very bad weather that could affect transit times.

I would try the UN. I'm sure they'll be only too willing to assist.

Seriously, mine arrived on Saturday, I'm quite content with that. I'm grateful that a group of largely unpaid volunteers have given us quality content to read.
It's only a magazine, there's far worse things happen than a magazine arriving a few days later than expected.

This morning, BBC Breakfast revealed the results of their Final Posting Dates exercise.
BBC People up and down the UK posted 2nd class and 1st class Christmas cards on the 'Last Posting Date' as advised by Royal Mail.
17th Dec for 2nd Class, 20th for 1st Class. Between them, they posted 390 cards.
Recipients were asked to confirm their card arrival.
Results were: .

So perhaps the missing Minor Matters will eventually arrive....

Re: Minor Matters January/Febuary 2026
I'm sure we're not the only people to cease/reduce sending Christmas and birthday cards. Not only are stamps ridiculously expensive, but envelopes that look as if they may contain birthday cash often don't arrive.
Re: Minor Matters January/Febuary 2026
Yes Mike, I’ve cut down on cards and my sister and I have replaced presents with charity donations. I’m of the opinion that we’ve all got what we want now anyway !

My Minor Matters finally arrived yesterday. A good read and some good info. The post does seem somewhat unreliable at present
