Hi I thought I'd share some pics of my project
It's a 54 2 door which was bought from the east coast motor company cromer then in 1956 my great uncle's family bought the car and stayed with him until this year when I final got it after years of wanting it. It was used daily up until 1979 when it was parked in a barn with the intentions it would be restored by my great uncle but he never got the time to do it. Luckily the barn was dry as although it needs some welding it's really survived well. It has had a gold seal engine replacement at some point to which is believed to have only covered 10,000 miles..

Re: 1954 morris minor 2 door
What a nice project! It looks like it doesn't too much in the way of welding - the ones I'm working on at the moment are worse. Does the engine turn or is it siezed?
Re: 1954 morris minor 2 door
She doesn't need much welding at all as luckily it was covered in oil underneath before it was parked up.
The engine was locked but has freeded up after having atf left in the bores for a week or two. It had a gold seal replacement engine fitted just before it was taken off the road so I'm hoping it won't need too much internal works.
