1961 four door saloon restoration project failure

Hello all. We started a project on this car, however it is proving too much, so please look at this link in, sadly, the scrapyard section:

The car is unfortunately to be scrapped, but I am keen to see any salvageable parts rescued and not wasted, if anyone is interested.

Pity to scrap it if someone is willing to restore it. I know the underside is more or less missing, but it looks a pretty car!

Especially Clipper blue cars. Only made for a relatively short time. Not as rare as highway yellow though.

If anyone is interested in this, it can go for a 'rock bottom' price. It will need to be trailed from Cowfold with all the parts attached to the trailer (or large van which will take the car) either in the car or outside. Please update this if you are. You can see more detail in the other post in the scrapyard board, at viewtopic.php?t=79406.

To those of us used to restoring Minors it really doesn't look that bad. Glad to see it's been properly braced. Yes, there is a lot to do, but all those panels are available and a lot of the prep work looks like it's already been done, and if I didn't already have two Minors to work on I would take it on myself.

Have you tried advertising it on the MMOC Facebook page, or any of the other Minor FB pages?
