Hi everyone,
I have just fitted new: sills, crossmember and rear chassis legs, and stipped the underside of my 63 minor to the metal, what I'd like to know is, would "stonechip" be a good enough protector of the underside if I sprayed over it with waxoyl?.
Thanks in anticipation.
Sam.

From my experience it doesn't matter too much wether you
use Hammerite, underseal or whatever, as long as you DO use
Waxoyl at the end. After the first application use the car during
some hot months then apply another coat of Waxoyl over the
accumulated road dust....this gives a lovely gungy coating which
I have found only needs a light touch up with a brush and a pot
of Waxoyl once a year.
