Hello
Im the chair of the Buckingham branch and we have been using Lloyds Bank for our club account for many years.
In April they have started to charge £5 a month for the use of the account. Now being a small branch we don't have more than £1000 in the account so £60 a year in fees is quite a bit.
I have looked at the CO-OP, but we don't qualify for there community account as we are not a Charity of a registered company.
I also checked out Metro Bank - but they are going to start charging £3 a month from December.
Does anyone else have this issue and if so were you able to mitigate the service costs
Regards
Ian

Re: Bank Charges
We are a small Home Counties branch and we do not hold funds , levy subs claim rebates for just this reason. The bank does not need your 'business' as it makes little or no money out of you. Our 'Treasurer' has a very quiet life.

Re: Bank Charges
Here in Herts we switched to Metro from Lloyds earlier this year, as the former "had no plans to start charging community accounts".
