Next week has mutated to next month........

I have made two pics but unfortunately you cannot really see where the welding repair has been done as the saddle is covering the area. The left side the same.

You mean the bump stops? And could you tell us how you determined the position of the saddles after you removed the old ones.
Finished rescuing a 1967 2-door. Define finished....

We measured the distance from the centre of the old ones before cutting them off. In any case, the original weld marks are never completely eradicated.

Yes, the bump stop covers the upper repair plate as well.
