Hello
I am just putting an order together with ESM but I can't find the engine steady cable listed anywhere.
I've tried the Moss part number but it's not recognised so was wondering if anyone could help please.
Many thanks
Graham.

Re: Engine steady cable part number?
Is this what you mean? It does prevent the engine moving forwards under heavy braking but it actually attaches to the gearbox so it's called a "gearbox steady wire/cable" 10G263

Or the engine steady bar is this part (goes from rear of engine to bulkhead). You can buy the rubber bushes, cup washers and nylock nuts separately to overhaul an existing steady bar.

Re: Engine steady cable part number?
Thank you Stephen very much.
It is the first one so it's the gearbox cable.
I'll add it to my ever growing list.

Re: Engine steady cable part number?
The ESM search engine isn't the greatest; it doesn't provide alternatives if it doesn't like your search phrase..
So searching for 'engine steady cable' will get you a Wahh Wahh Opps, but search for 'steady' and you'll get 10 results with 'steady' in their title.
