Hello All,
I’ve spent the last few days removing all the old disintegrated under carpet hairy brown insulation/sound deadening material (replaced with some free offcuts of new domestic carpet underlay). While scraping off various old glued down remnants in the drivers side footwell I came across a small ground flat area with the last seven digits of the chassis plate number - was this originally on all models ? or just later models ? (It’s a 1968 Traveller)
(Although I expect a lot would have been lost in necessary floor repairs over the years…)
Kind regards.
Floor number stamping …..

I believe only on later model, my 62 doesn't have it.
