Saffron Walden Motor Show

A reminder that 2 weeks today is the Saffron Walden Motor Show on the Common in Saffron Walden. 17th of August 2025.

For my money, one of the best local car shows - classic and more modern - of the whole season.

Free entry - get there early and at least before 10 am as it fills up quickly.

As well as being Uttlesford Morris Minor Owners annual bun-fight, there are some stunning cars , bikes and army vehicles as well as quality local food and the superlative Saffron Ice Cream.


Just across the road is the town-centre - still largely on the medieval grid and worth a wander round - a lot is open - the remains of a Norman castle and a great church.

Come and join us, we will be parked along the top of the common - the largest single marque grouping with cars from early to very late, in the 23 plus years of Minor production as well as most models being represented - Our record is 31 Minors - Help us break that this year!
