Spotted a traveller, the only other Minor at the Winslow classic run today. Started at Little Horwood and finished at Waterperry Gardens 90 miles.

Saw a blue traveller sporting a roof rack today in Bury Lancs heading towards Pilsworth Ind est.
Looked lovely and was pulling very well up the hill from Manchester Road.

I think it would be most unwise if the timberwork was in poor condition. The aluminium rear roof panel is only pinned to the wood frame through the aluminium guttering. Having said that, we had a roofrack on our Traveller for many years - often laden - and never had any problem at all. It was common to see Travellers fitted with roofracks.

No photo but a couple of days ago there was a very nice convertible (white top, with boot rack and looked like some club stickers) staying the night at the Forest & Vale, Pickering.

Not sure what colour it was as it looked a dark green, but appeared to have a blue like quality, almost a mix of BRG and Trafalgar Blue- wasn't up close to it to say for sure.

It's the Minors hubcap reflecting in the glossy paint of the door panel (though I'm guessing you knew that already).

Yes it was a spot lamp, the type you can move with a handle.
I did joke with the German owner it was for spotting incoming aircraft.

Note only the driver has leather seats. Thats because he was a dirty oik and needed wipe clean surfaces.
