Hi
My Morris Minor was fitted with what i believe to be Grumpy Marina Disk brakes and calipers which were fitted in 2008.
I now want to replace the bleed nipples and cant find the same size. I ordered these from esm and although it says they are suitable for remanufactured Marina calipers which i thought would be the same thread size as grumpy ones but it appears not. The new ones are about 1mm larger in spanner size and the threads are slightly too large although they physically look the same.
Esm: https://www.morrisminorspares.com/brake ... rd-p829481
If anyone knows which size will fit that would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Donald

The bleed nipples in the link are Ford.
They are not suitable for the original Marina calliper. They are only suitable for re-manufactured Marina callipers.
The genuine Marina calliper bleed nipples are 3/8" x 24 TPI UNF.
ESM list the bleed nipples in the link below as suitable for the Marina but they do not have the sealing point on their bottom end

They may be ok but personally I would use the bleed nipples with the pointed bottom end.
These are the type of bleed nipples you should be using and are similar to those fitted to my Marina callipers:

Please note that the Genuine BL bleed nipples fitted to my Marina callipers have a overall length of 1 1/2" and are slightly waisted between the thread and bleed aperture. The spanner used is 7/16" AF.

They are the ones.
The slightly longer length and waist helps to clear the two bolts that holds the two halves of the calliper together.
