"Where is this information from?"
I think it flew right over your head Bill. A little bit of sarcasm about the non use/lack of direction indicators. The most observant will see it's mainly, but not limited to, the drivers of the marques mentioned.
I have even been behind a marked driving school car, where it is obviously the pupil driving, with no indicator use whatsoever at roundabouts. When taking an exit on the right or left and nothing at an exit.

You didn’t indicate it was a jokeMervin wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 10:18 am "Where is this information from?"

I actually changed my fronts, from white flashing, to amber and put the side light in headlight as I'm sure some didn't perceive it as a turn signal.

An excellent solution Bill. I would have painted the headlamp bulbs amber and connected them to the flasher circuit.
That would, of course, require a massive capacity flasher relay/unit.
Better to stop now, it's becoming a bit silly.

Re: Other drivers...
A few years back, I was on a three lane approach to large roundabout, where I wanted to take the third exit.
So I indicated right, got into the right hand lane, and stopped at the red lights at the entry.
The Mini to my left started remonstrating to me that my right indicator was flashing. "You can't do that, as you're about to turn left onto the roundabout" he shouted.
"Yes, but I'll be going nearly all the way round the roundabout. So I'll be indicating RIGHT until I'm near that exit".
He looked skyward in despair at my ignorance.
I looked skyward in despair as his!
