Problem getting front hub onto axle.
I am refitting the O/S front hub (Marina disc conversion) and have fitted new taper roller bearings and tapped in the new bearing outer races so they appeared to be fully home. I am using the axle nut to wind it back on and although the same procedure on the N/S went smoothly, this side has reached a point where there is still about 5mm to go until it is fully home, but it just wont go. I have tightened the nut as much as I dare and do not wish to strip the thread if I apply more pressure. I may have to take it off and have another look, but wondered if I am doing something wrong? Could the outer races need to go in further?

Ah....just realised I have not put back the backplate and caliper bracket before fitting the hub. That probably explains it! Time to stop for the day and tackle it properly tomorrow!
