My gut instinct is that it would struggle. You will need a heated screen on those days when you also need lights, wipers & heater, so that will be a full electrical load, and they struggle with that if you are doing short stop start runs. If most of your runs are reasonably long you might get away with it, but I'd suggest fitting an alternator. Very late Minors had alternators, and it's only what BL would have done had they continued in production much longer.

I have fitted a high level brake light, mounted on the rear parcel shelf, as I believe it helps to warn the idiot tailgaters that are around today.
I am also going to wire in a hazard warning unit. There have been differing opinions in regard to the fitting of LED lights so I am not intending to change the existing.
