Distributor question.

Post by elscint »

Hello all, I have just installed an Accuspark distributor in my 64 Minor 1098. Only problem now is I had to remove the oil pressure gauge connector as it was hitting the distributor vacuum feed when I was setting the timing. I had to reinstall the oil pressure sensor but without the adapter for the pressure gauge. My question is can I rotate the distributor, say 90 Deg clockwise and then move the spark plug leads all clockwise 90 degrees, would this work?

Absolutely you can. The leads are not all the same length so check which ones will fit best where. Firing order 1,3,4,2 anticlockwise.
