hello all
Newbie in trouble.
I am trying to rebuild my 1098 engine with a replacement block. my existing block has a star drive oil pump and matching cam the new block is drilled for the three hole slot type oil pump.
My question is can I drill and tap the replacement block to suit the the four hole pump? As it fits and the top two holes line up ?
Best regards to all getting a bit desperate

Re: star drive oil pump conversion ?
You can drill and tap the additional hole(s) for the star drive pump.
Most current star drive pumps have only two bolts to secure them and then only one original bolt hole lines up.
Use your existing block as the pattern.
