I am sure that everybody except me knows, but what is the thread used on the B Post tapped fixing above and below the old trafficator slot !
I thought that 7/16 UNF was the standard but the bolts that came with my new Securon belts will not fit ! Help please .
Thank you.
Paul.

Re: 1964 Four Door Saloon Seat Belts.
7/16 unf would be correct and was the industry standard for decades
Lots of modern vehicles however now use M10 fine so possibly securon have done the same,
Unless it's just paint and other contaminates in the threads?
Steve

Re: 1964 Four Door Saloon Seat Belts.
Thank you Steve. Very helpful.
The tapped holes in the pillar have clearly never been used and are painted . May well be that this is the issue. I will very gently try a 7/16" UNF tap and see if it bites easily.
