Gearbox stuck in 3/4??

Hi everyone,

My Morris Van known as Homer (No Plate DUH!) woke up this morning refusing to select any other gear than 3 or 4. I've had no previous warning of any problems, usually the sweetest gearbox you could imagine. So before I remove said gearbox and replace it with a £40 secondhand unit - any ideas,

suggestions.

Check to see if your clutch adjustment is OK as this usually prevents access to the lower gears if it has wound out a bit.

When this happened to me I had to start it in 1st (clutch in) and use double declutching to go up the 'box and double declutching with revving in neutral to go down the 'box.

Quick clutch adjustment, and it was as sweet as a nut!!

Thanks for that - tried didn't work. To be clearer I don't have a neutral at all only reverse when gear stick in neutral postion, or psssibly 3 and 4. I think I might need to go and get that gear box!
