Can anybody recommend a good quality welder to do the work please?

Post by Virs1959 »

Hi Everyone

I have a 1959 4 door that requires chassis/floor welding before I start replacing inner/outer wings and gradual restoration. Can anybody recommend a good quality welder to do the work please? I don’t want to be ripped off, so personal recommendation from this group would be welcome. Many thanks.
Best wishes

What is the point of this ? If for arguments sake the original post was answered, by suggesting a good welder, what would be the consequence or what if anything would that lead to ? ——— it must be me, I don’t get it !!

A search for "Virs1959" brings up a few forums, all of which the account has posted once, never replied to any of the responses and never or rarely logged in again (which makes this time different as they logged in four days later). "CamillaDiop" only shows up for one other site.

Also "DoristheMorris1959" has a word-for-word copy of the request back in 2023, but they also have posts going back to 2022:

As to the point of AI posts, the AI can't do machine learning if it has nothing to learn from (replies) and AI bots are likely being trained to get to the point of being undetectable, whether for fun or mischief further down the line by their creators is of course unknown.
