surely people who don't know what an abbatoir is - or have never been to one are more likely to be meat eaters!

Cam - I had the two matrix units side by side - identical. The feed hoses on both my cars look to be the same - they join the same bits together anyway. The main clue for top efficiency is to eliminate the by-pass hose (or at least block it off) - more airflow is all very well (and the Mini fan gives at least twice the old Minor fan ever managed) , but you need to be sure there is enough hot water circulating, or it will just blow luke warm !

I fitted a Mini heater, complete. 92 degree stat, repostioned air intake to behind top of radiator [ now running hotter due to hotter stat ] secured with zipper clips.
But one thing I did notice once when front screen out. The demister outlets were not exactly under the slots in dash. Remove them cut about 3/16" from fixing tabs and redrill them.
Result, perfectly aligned outlets, better demisting.

Ah, you must be confused. That's what happens to a northerner when they are forced to live in the south and subjected to a life of 'real ale' or 'extra smooth draft'. :x

Still, my more than acceptable antidote was to eat curry all the time. Which has to be accompanied by lager, not beer. :D
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

Now, I know I'm not exactly in my field of expertise here  But EVEN I know that 'real ale' is a northern/midland thing and the south only drink shandy  :D and lager shandy at that! ......... with a pink umbrella in......

They'll be telling us next that Boddingtons and Newcastle Broon are pleasant, manly drinks. Leave them to it - they don't know any better...

Newcastle Broon? That was absolutely AWFUL last time I drank it :o Mind you that was about 15 years ago but I doubt it's changed much...

Well its in production as a raw unit, fully built tested etc but in a simple box rather than built into the original late minor casing. I'm short of development time at the moment but if anyone is definately interested I can raise it in position of priorities. I can e-mail someone some pics as it looks at present, to post on here .
