Dynamo spade connector
Hi all, anyone know what size the dynamo spade connector is,as mine has corroded badly and is causing ignition light to illuminate. I must have every type of electrical connections in my box of tricks except these connectors. I done a rough size across the connector and it seems to be about 10mm in width. Any help please, thanks.

Re: Dynamo spade connector
about 10mm
Back when these were made it was likely imperial?
Male or female connector? 10mm is around 3/8”

Re: Dynamo spade connector
The large spade connector on the Minor dynamo is 3/8" or 9.5mm wide.
The small spade connector on the Minor dynamo is 1/4" or 6.1mm wide.
If either of the male 'spade' connectors are the ones on the dynamo it may be easier to obtain a good S/H dynamo than try and repair the connections.

Re: Dynamo spade connector
It's the female connector that's corroded, the male one is in surprisingly good nick.

Re: Dynamo spade connector
I'm assuming it's the Large one you're speaking of, since a voltage drop at that, being the output connector, would result in lower voltage being sensed by the Ign Lamp.
A standard Yellow 10mm is what you need, but they are best fitted with a ratchet crimp tool.
